We take alternate control of the three main characters, receiving at our disposal their various abilities and gadgets. Three random misfits from the metropolis - the altruistic and non-violent scientist Anu, her ambitious, "belonging to the street" brother Octavio and the revenge-hungry but likable Fran, who moves in a pillow-chair - get a chance from fate to stop this plan and plunder the Crypt before Tediore, in order to change the fate of the world for the better and get a little richer in the process. Its goal is clear - to break into the mythical Crypt and loot the treasures hidden there. The plotĪ year after the events of Borderlands 3, the large, greedy and heartless corporation Tediore, a weapons manufacturer, headed by CEO Susan Coldwell, invades the planet-city of Promethea. The title was developed by Gearbox Software studio (without the participation of Telltale Games, creators of the first part), and published by 2K Games - that is, the duo responsible for almost all the games representing the brand, including Borderlands 3 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. It is a sequel to Tales from the Borderlands: A Telltale Games Series, but tells a separate story and introduces completely new characters. New Tales from the Borderlands is a narrative adventure game set in the blackly humorous, wacky world of the Borderlands series.
